(This website was of tremendous help for the ratings: http://www.notebookcheck.net - with a cool comparison chart: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-Gra ... 844.0.html ) It was very very difficult to do this, with there being so few benchmark reviews out there for notebook GPUs. I had to use my understanding of how each particular architecture (Juniper, Barts, GT200, GF106, etc..) perform according to their bigger discrete video card brothers (for the desktop PC), by trying to as accurately evaluate the bottlenecking factors (bandwidth, ROPs, and TMUs) with the given specs and clocks. For example, HD 7750 has roughly half the shader compute power of HD 7770 but performs only about 28% slower overall since the 7770 was pretty badly bottlenecked by the same amount of bandwidth - this is how important it was to really understand how each of the different specifications for each GPU affected its overall performance. I plan on adding more cards, but would like to know if you see any deviations that stand out for now. If anything, it would be appreciated, so please feel free to help with pointing anything out.

Radeon HD 7770's Voodoopower rating reduced from 94 to 93 VP, after factoring in ABT's new review of HD 7770 vs HD 6770, 6870, GTX 560, 560 Ti, 550 Ti. Thanks, Apoppin!

UPDATE: Geforce GTX 680 added to the list, rated at 235 Voodoopower (7% faster than HD 7970)! That was after a couple of hours of scouring dozens of review sites out there for an overall average!

I'm posting this here in my thread also, since it needs mentioning.. grstanford wrote: Allow me to mangle your chart. I find the way I did it far easier to read because "like" sits next to "like" and I don't have to look from one side of the chart to the other to see how "like" compares. Thanks, that made it much easier for me to calculate the exact percentage from the chart, which is 5.99% (see data show the percentage difference for each game/resolution, including the 3Dmark/heaven): 28.0 13.6 13.9 21.2 -8.0 2.8 -83.1 -57.9 -6.4 1.5 -1.7 3.8 4.6 11.0 24.0 32.8 5.7 16.4 15.7 23.1 -6.5 -1.0 -15.1 -10.8 -5.1 2.3 0 9.4 -7.2 -6.5 16.1 20.6 14.5 18.0 18.2 25.0 10.7 14.6 12.4 20.3 15.6 20.9 -1.6 5.5 18.4 25.7 Average: 6.0% faster than HD 7970 (EDIT: Without Wolfenstein, which is such an outlier and not really representative of OpenGL performance, the average climbs to 9.46% )And also for 3x1080p, the differences are: -6.9 19.2 15.4 11.5 -6.8 28.9 -6.9 8.6 -4.5 -2.1 (which averages to 5.64% for Surround vs Eyefinity benches). However, other sites show it to be much faster, like: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum/ha ... ew-29.htmlhttp://nl.hardware.info/reviews/2628/23 ... vs-hd-7970 shows over 10% in several games, including 5760x1080 for all of those games, http://www.pcper.com, http://www.pureoverclock.com, tomshardware.com, xbitlabs.com, anandtech, hardocp, etc.. etc.. http://www.eteknix.com/reviews/graphics ... rd-review/ also show GTX 680 beat HD 7970 at 3x1080p by a larger percentage. If any of you guys really want me to gather all the benchmark numbers from every reputable review site out there on the internet, with the differences put together for an average, let me know. It'd made the Voodoopower ratings more credible to the more skeptical ones, but it'd be LOTS of work just to do all of the keystroking.

Not to be a drag or anything, but isn't the gtx470 1,280, and not 1,250 on memory?
No big deal, but I'm surprised I didn't catch that before.

No big deal, but I'm surprised I didn't catch that before. 1,280 MB = 1.25 GB. Just like 1,024 MB = 1.00000 GB. Like, see here: https://www.google.com/search?client=op ... 8&bih=1082-it now says 1.25 GB.. damn, you lost 30 MB!

Awaiting the upcoming Voodoopower rating for a GTX 690 - thanks for your patience!
It will be the first time a dual-GPU card actually has higher ratings than a single-GPU video card with the same GPU as the dual-GPU version in it.
(hint: the blissful revealed secret is that it's because of the lack of microstuttering as is the case with 2x GTX 680 SLI, reducing the penalty by 7.5%, from the "standard" 15% for multi-GPU cards.)

GTX 690 and 670 added to the list, at 383 VP and 213 VP respectively! (Also added the 3GB GTX 580 and 2.5GB GTX 570, now that they could clearly differentiated from the lesser RAM versions) Several high-end cards were downgraded by a category, with more downgrading to follow soon this summer. I was going to ask if I should also downgrade the HD 5970 4GB and GTX 580 to Lower High-End, and downgrade the GTX 460 2Win 2GB - GTX 480 cards (with the cards in between) to Upper Mid-Range yet, but then realized that at the current prices, even a HD 7870 is quite a premium. They will be downgraded very shortly anyways. (soon to follow- an investigation on GTX 690's microstuttering thanks to Techreport's awesome article)..

Hey BoFox, can you list "SickBeast's 7850" and slot it just above the GTX 580?
