Wrong hemisphere to see anything, plus it's a cloud covered, dull overcast day here, sadly.

We got it good here. The temperature has dropped a couple of degrees and the light is cut down by well over 70%

Two pairs of Nvidias' 3D Vision glasses come in very handy for viewing the sun directly - the double polarization blocks most of the visible light. About 500 miles further North (where i was, at the GTC) would have full coverage (well there is a "ring of fire", so it is not exactly 100% coverage . . . . i think it is at peak here now the sun is becoming more visible.
:hello:

Back to work .. the GTC evaluation is next and Mario has the top Apps of the Week ready to go tonight also

ARGH!! I so badly wanna see one, for once in my life! The lunar eclipse that I saw was probably nothing like what a solar eclipse would be, in terms of "awe"!!!

And if you try watching it without proper eye protection, you won't see anything for the rest of your life.

i think you have to head for an observatory for this one :P
--do they really call it "eclipsing" the sun?

It sucks because I'm closely related to Venus, being such a Libra!! Moon's in Aquarius, along with several other astronomical "features" - I'm like 45% Libra and 30% Aquarius! :D
