It is traced to these guys http://tech.pnosker.com/2012/05/21/nvid ... deo-cards/ They claim "TSMC" as the source where it is more likely Nvidia's competitor. After all, many millions of dollars are at stake and i think this is also why 600 series overclocking is locked down so we don't see more flaming GTX 590s like before. Some companies do not hesitate to play dirty and we already know that Flog sites have been recruited for the PR wars.

The specific model is GXY-GTX670-2GD5 linkWhile it is still at least $50.00 more than I really want to pay for a GTX 670, it beats the north of $500 pricing of most other brands. Inno3D is a little cheaper, but I prefer not to deal with them, especially since my 8800GTX's were Inno3D's and one died. So I should be replacing my GTX 460's with GTX 670's in about a fortnight, and finally move on performance wise from GTX 280 SLI levels of performance to a bit more than GTX 580 SLI performance. It's about time! The cards have just landed in my state, will have them in my hot little hands by tomorrow, good job I purchased when I did, the distributor has since increased prices to $533 on them.

I doubt I'd do a Galaxy review after hearing their treatment of you. The only reason the Galaxy cards aren't some other brand now is because it was too late to change the order at that stage.
Certainly I'll be using Palit and Gainward for any customers wanting GTX 670's or GTX 680's.

i don't feel that bad about Galaxy, and i don't take it personally.
And i would still love to hear about the performance of upgrading from your 460/2GB SLI to GTX 670 SLI (you are getting 4GB?)

The cards I'm getting are the reference blower models. The only thing "Galaxy" about them is the packaging and sticker.

I thought about 4gb, but decided not to this round. I'll post up a few benchmarks, naturally. I should be going from slightly better than single GTX580 performance to noticeably better than GTX 580 SLI performance, which will be good enough for me this time around.
