Exactly! This is just the "overview" of a platform transition from X58 to Z77. You are getting the highlights. And it will transition into the ECS MB evaluation which will use many of the same benches; then the EVGA MB.
Finally, i'll come back to memory on the Ivy platform when i specifically examine the new Kingston RAM vs the old; and on to 4GB vs. 8GB, although i will just touch on it in the overview. And i am only using the GTX 690 as the fastest single video card to attempt to show differences in memory speeds. The trend will be clear; i can always do GTX 680 and HD 7970 GHz testing in a follow-up as time and interest permit.
Anyway, expect a bit of a delay due to the extra benching on the IPC eval. i just want my platform *complete* .
