i would guess Alan Wake is DX9, but i only have 2 DX9 games in my suite

SE is ok but i didn't find it too great

i am looking for demanding games with repeatable benches.

Next one that i am hoping for of course is BL 2

In that case yeah,SE2 is fine.The killcams are great but gets boring first

It is Stand alone. IF i was going to benchmark another DX9 game, would it be decent as a benchmark?

American Nightmare is decent,i haven't played it but it received mostly favorable reviews.SE2 is demanding and I think it runs better on amd cards due to better direct compute performance .Yes you can repeat benches using fraps

Thanks. i think i will take a chance on American Nightmare to bolster my DX9 benching suite. Just 2 games is pretty sad. And for $3.75, i am not taking much of a risk.
