It's good that Ocre wrote a prayer because the way you guys worship Rollo is like a religion. You might as well just make him a super mod and get rid of Dave. Now I understand why Rollo is asking for mod powers. He wants to be the ultimate master.

I don't even know if those guys agree with what I post, but I'd bet really good money they don't worship me. BoFox and I disagree as often as we agree, for example.
That is the nature of open conversation though, everyone brings their biases and opinions.

I never said I was going to moderate Rollo. All I said was that he will "reach full understanding" once I have my mod powers. There is a difference. Dave seems very hush hush about all this though. Dave perhaps you can explain to us why you're not going to give it. I have been asking for mod powers for months.

Like a lot of what you say, this misses the big picture.
A. There are a lot of tech forums. I'm a member in good standing on several, and haven't even tried to join some.
B. I've never been banned from a sports forum or social media forum I've belonged to. Go figure- when you take the "guys that get paid to lobby to get me banned" out of the equation, I don 't get banned.
C. I have multiple ISPs, can easily afford more or proxies. Mysteriously enough, I've also never been banned from a forum where I didn't have "NVIDIA Focus Group" in my sig.
So you go right on thinking I have "no other forum to post on", and I'll go right on living my life, pretty much irrespective of what you, Sick Beast, and Apoppin do or think.

Dumbass- I do not post online to earn money. I never have. I did indeed post online to get behind the scenes in the gaming industry, because it was a big hobby for me then. It cost me a lot more than the value of any hardware or games I received- a LOT more. You couldn't afford what I was doing keeping multiple current high end rigs going.
Sure I have multiple ISPs- I'm not poor? Home, cell phone? I currently have no proxy service, but they're cheap enough I could buy dozens. The point was that "you can't really ban a person who has even a little money from the internet forums" not "Rollo is operating a multiple identity marketing machine". Dolt.

If I chose to do that, I'd be better at it than anyone ever has been.
However, I'm coming up on my 18 year anniversary at the software company I work for, and am thankful for that.
My job experience and work with other related industry software companies there alone pretty much guarantees I will always have a job, even if I didn't have two bachelors degrees.

I am glad Greg finally came out and said this. I have known this for a long time but I have not said anything out of respect for Greg. Something is definitely fishy here. I don't know exactly what Greg saw but it doesn't sound right. Greg clearly had access to all of our IP addresses so if he saw something fishy about Rollo's IP I believe him. Perhaps Rollo uses these methods to access other forums where he has been banned.

Gosh, I think you launch an investigation and spend a lot of time with it.

I just went and checked out Gstan's PM. Some spammers had an IP that ended in something like .348, mine ended in .4 so he said "close enough".
I don't remember if I used a proxy to re-reg here, or my phone, or if my IP had just changed on my cable provider.
This morning I interviewed a candidate to be on my team, did a teleconference with another software company's product owners, provided some reports for a clients auditors, discussed a project with one of our programmers and our sales dept, and helped a couple of people on my team.
In other words, I'm busy earning a living, not trying to infiltrate backwaters of the internet like ABT to sell Xboxes.
I can't believe a person as stupid as you are is allowed to teach children. What do you teach them? How to be wrong?

All mods here, dudes! Let's just respect each other like we would on the road. No crashing into each other. No road rage to the point of reckless endangerment and fatal accidents. If that guy cuts in front of you just 5 feet ahead on your lane, always allow the bright side to shine (the fact that the driver didn't scratch or dent your car, which is an extraordinary thing if you're driving in Manhattan every day for 1 year with no bumps), and appreciate the fact that the driver isn't driving drunk or stupid enough to the point of crashing at the next intersection, so that you may continue peacefully along the road with no severe or grave consequences. I alpha/beta tested what they asked me to, moderated on their forums, and evangelized the stuff more than anyone else in the group.
I had a full time + job that I travelled fairly often for. ( I did more onsite training in those days) Not to mention I had two houses to care for, a son to raise, and other hobbies.
We're not all hanging around in the desert collecting social security with nothing to do 24/7 but run synthetic benches on video cards.
