iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - SteelCrysis - 10-21-2016 http://www.extremetech.com/mobile/238006-iphone-7-storage-tests-show-higher-end-models-are-significantly-faster-than-the-32gb-version Quote:Both iPhones appear to be hooked to the same USB port and Hilsenteger performs the same action on each — he syncs a 4.2GB copy of Star Wars: A New Hope to both iPhones and measures how long it took to do it. The iPhone 7 256GB finishes the copy in 2 minutes, 34 seconds. The iPhone 7 32GB needs 3 minutes, 40 seconds for the same job. That means it takes the iPhone 7 32GB about 1.43x as long to copy a 4.2GB file as the iPhone 7 256GB — and that’s not a trivial difference. RE: iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - SickBeast - 10-22-2016 Yup. Apple hardware is a waste of money unless you are really intent on high end hardware and owning the absolute best. You will pay a very heavy price for that though. I love LG phones, personally. Removable batteries and micro SD cards FTW. RE: iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - RolloTheGreat - 10-22-2016 (10-22-2016, 01:24 AM)SickBeast Wrote: Yup. It does what I need a phone to do in good fashion, primarily surf net, make calls, send texts/emails, and be a GPS. RE: iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - SickBeast - 10-22-2016 I absolutely love my new LG G4. The only thing I wish it had was a faster processor. The snapdragon 820 looks amazing. RE: iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - dmcowen674 - 10-24-2016 (10-22-2016, 01:24 AM)SickBeast Wrote: Yup. Removable batteries and micro SD cards FTW. Apple is not the "absolute best". With phones for example the radio is horrible. You can have an Apple and a Samsung or any other brand side by side and the Apple drops because the receiver is crap. RE: iPhone 7 32GB Version Much Slower Than Other Versions - SickBeast - 10-24-2016 Well it's debatable. I think samsung makes better phones but now that they are exploding I don't see anyone else who can really compete with Apple. |
