My sister got me an Echo Dot (2nd Generation) for my birthday last week which is Amazon Alexa.
I feel like Captain Kirk just belting out commands to the computer to turn on and off the lights.
Also don't need the TV remote anymore.

How do you like it, Dave? Is it better than Google Home?
I'm having a chandelier put in with a dimmer. I think I will ask for some type of smart switch for integration with things like this.

I never had Google Home so can't compare.
Yes, it is pretty awesome. Never have to fumble for the little switch on the lamp and the remote for the TV is gathering dust.
