Valve permabanned pro gamers for throwing matches. Some of said gamers didn't even do a good job of hiding their intentions. Even pro gamers are protesting the severity of the punishments. What's worse, Valve's influence through this decision has resulted in all other Esports venues except DreamHack permabanning said players with zero prompting from Valve whatsoever.
