It was even worse than we thought. This video is not entirely about the crypto plague, but what he has to say about it is worth mentioning:
- Graphics card manufacturers were selling directly to the crypto miners and lying about it
- This caused shortages of cards for the retailers, who had to tack on their own markups
- There were tweets of groups of scumbags driving to Microcenters and buying graphics cards one at a time, then posting photos bragging about all of the cards they had
