I'm the kind of guy who does NOT want to get the best deal for my money in computer hardware, but it is very important to me that my CPU be able to run Windows, and many Windows compatible software applications.
I know intel was probably making better cpus in the 90s than AMDs latest, but I like the fans AMD includes with their cpus. And their boxes are made of real cardboard!
