Boy suspended for pretending to shoot an arrow at recess

CINCINNATI — A six-year old boy was suspended from school for playing with an imaginary bow and arrow at recess.

His parents were told the school has a zero tolerance policy towards any type of threatening gestures.

But they say he was just playing with his friends and there was no malicious intent.

The boy’s parents say they’re considering moving him to another school next year.

First it's imaginary bows....then REAL ONES!!!

LOL

Yeah the "zero tolerance" these days leads to some weird stuff.

I should take that principal over to Toys-r-Us, buy a toy bow and arrow, and fire a shot at her, and say "you're fired"!!!

When imaginary bows and arrows are outlawed, only outlaws will have imaginary bows and arrows....

Better said, I should take that principal over to Toys-R-Us, let my 7-year old son find his favorite toy bow and arrow, tell him to fire an arrow at her.

Then if she yells at my son, I'll press charges against her for verbal abuse towards my 7-year old, for traumatizing him, and for threatening battery/assault if she made any hand gestures. Haha?

You said it fine the first time, IMO.

I was just riffing on the old "When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns" saying.

(which is true on multiple levels)

The imaginary bow and arrows thing is nuts.
