FCC wants to use up to 71GHz band to offer 5G speeds of up to 10Gbps

As 5G becomes ubiquitous someday soon, will this render cable obsolete, like what is happening with household phone landlines these days? 

At least this will keep the cable companies humble with offering very close to unlimited bandwidth at no extra cost, I hope.

No, too much Corporate consolidation in the U.S. resulting in total collusion in the U.S. so prices only going up not coming down.

More and more people not being able to afford TV, Internet and eventually even a smartphone.

A large part of the element marching the U.S. towards it's inevitable next internal war.

Strange how each year there are more people using smart phones than the last........
