Job situation

No thanks.

Busy with real job and real life. I don't have the time to take on a project like this.

Was a time I would have jumped at the chance, but the allure of running benchmarks and swapping out hardware lost it's luster to me long ago. (and I have no desire to pimp any hardware)

I'll keep posting on the gun/boat/fishing forums I post on, keep mainly lurking and sometimes posting on tech forums, and watch ABT fade into the past.

In short, you will let this good place go to oblivion.

If it's that or buy it and run it, yes.

I have a fulltime job, a teenager I'm raising, two houses to maintain, and my other hobbies. (and I have no experience doing this, I'd have to learn it from ground zero)

I said I'd kick in $20-$30 a year for hosting fees, that's not "nothing". I saw on Apoppin's site that he was paying $50 a year if he paid up front, and that you can get $120/year anywhere. So far Dave hasn't even said he'd let us help, could be he wants to let it die?

I don't know, but I would rather it stay up as well.

Not because it's the only place I can post, but because I like this forum when people are posting on it.
