Apparently this guy invented the lithium ion batteries that are used in pretty much everything today. He has come up with some kind of "glass" battery cell that has triple the capacity, more charge cycles, faster charging, and a wider operating temperature range. It looks fantastic. Hopefully they can bring it to market quickly. It says that this could be what makes electric cars become mainstream.
