Gstan we only generate 16% of our electricity by renewables, 63% by burning fossil fuels. Between that and the hazardous waste of tesla batteries, they are a mixed bag at best.
They also take a lot longer to re-fuel, have lower range, are impacted by extreme temperatures, have far fewer fuel and service stations,and cost more.
I see Teslas like solar power in the near term: a costly mixed bag of pros and cons, mainly for hobbyists and the wealthy to play with.
