Nvidia no longer is competing with AMD. Like i said on the other forum, the 980ti was launched because they need to try to pick up sales for their shareholders. Even though they gained marketshare and are sitting at about 78%, their overall shipments were down -7%.
Had nvidia not gained any share, it would have been -10 to -14%.
The 980ti and price drop is because they are trying to uptick sales, it has nothing to do with fiji
