The question would be: Are there situations more than 4GB is needed? I don't know the answer to this, I suspect at my 1600P resolution, at playable settings, 4GB is enough.
Nonetheless, when I see games like "The Evil Within" require 4GB, and "Shadows of Mordor" need 6GB for ultimate settings, having 6 isn't a bad thing. (I have Evil Within)
