these kind of test are interesting. I am sure sickbeast could tell us more about this first hand
looking at the data, i find something far more disturbing...........
The athlon X4 overclocked all the way to 4.4ghz can keep up with a G3258 at stock speeds. That is 2 extra cores and 1.2ghz clock advantage!! And often times the overclocked x4 finds itself slower than the dual core G3258 stock
