You know my big health food kick has been smoothies. I make them every day for my kids and I. I will share my kids' favorite recipe:
2 bananas
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen pineapple
3 cups of water
1/2 scoop of vanilla flavored protein powder
2 tablespoons of flax seed
fill the rest of the blender with ice (I usually use a whole tray of ice)
It's delicious! Since I started doing this none of us has been sick. I have other recipes with strawberries and blueberries. Sometimes I put oatmeal in as well.
