As for my debit, I really don't pay attention auto charges or anything like I should. I do check the balance of my debit card account every week but that is just to see if I am over my limit......wait....
I guess is the opposite of most people, see I have an upper limit for my debit account. When my account gets to that limit or over it, I pull out the sum and put it in savings or my other account with no active debit cards attached to it. I get a little afraid using my debit everywhere when it is attached to large sums of money. I like to keep my debit card account under 5k.
See, I have no debt or credit cards. I have direct deposit to my debit card account and I check it weekly to see if I need to pull money out of that account. I guess I should pay more attention to my charges though, I just haven't bothered
