I guess we still need to be careful with all of those negative customer reviews on Newegg, Amazon, etc.. If only 1 out of 10 people bother to post a review online, then perhaps this means that 1 out of 50 drives are defective if all of the purchasers of defective drives post a negative review online (or 1 out or 25, if only 1 out of 2 purchasers of defective drives actually bother to post a review) - it's just a rough shot-in-the-barrel estimate.
