Not to mention the plasma may start off looking better but several year on it will look nothing like it did brand new while the LCD will look exactly the same as it always did.

Yes GStanford, with my "good paying job" I can easily afford $3/mo to run a television.
I also don't keep tvs 10 years, so it's unlikely I would ever use up a plasma tv.
