Geez, I noticed this again.. and can't get over what AMD is trying to say about 1080p HDR looking better than 4K SDR:

Ummmmm.... maybe for ordinary LCD tech, which looks plain horrible. Even 480p on a 40" Sony WEGA (ancient CRT tv) looks 1000x better than 720p on any LCD, because of the contrast and colors..
But with OLED's and their infinite contrast ratio, breathtaking color quality - why would we be needing HDR at all?!????
This, I don't get.. HDR is just a fix for craptacular panels that cannot get the blacks where they are at (and also for viewing in daylight or in a brightly lit room).
