The speed difference between internal/external does not exist on the PS4 because it has a competent and properly implemented SATA port for the drive. Only the CrapBOX sees a speed increase from attaching a USB drive. Words cannot begin to describe how desperate you would need to be in order to try and somehow spin this situation as an M$ win.....
Not just my opinion either. 35 million PS4 owners vs 19 million CrapBOX owners are unlikely to be wrong....

When AMD had a 25% market share with their vastly superior Athlon 64, were the 75% of people buying P4s "unlikely to be wrong"?
