We will see if your old proverbs or the leaked benchmarks are right.  My money is on the leaked benchmarks.  We will see though.  You could be right.

Leaked benchmarks? The ones from AMD PR?

My dad used to tell me, "There's no such thing as a free lunch". It "could" be AMD is selling 980 Ti level performance for $200 in a couple weeks while NVIDIA can't keep product in stock at much higher prices, but I wouldn't bet on it.
