The tv was $1999.99 + tax. ($2110.)
More than I've spent on a tv before, but the going rate here for mid range 65" tvs.
The money I'm going to save ($80/mo) by streaming VUE and Netflix for my content will pay for it in 2 years. I think it's excellent I can stream Vue through it without an external device of any kind now that Sony is launching Vue on Android.
Note- I'm not making payments on a tv for two years, but switching to Vue will get me the $2000 back in two years time. That's not bad at all.
Have you looked into 4k Netflix yet? I'm quite disappointed with it. You have to subscribe to their most expensive plan, plus they won't let you stream 4k from your PC. It only works from very specific TVs' smart features (perhaps your TV is one of them that is compatible). Apparently they are worried about piracy. If you can confirm that you can stream 4k Netflix with either the Windows 10 app or else through Chrome I would appreciate it.
