In reality, the higher amount of pixels and higher pixel density result in sharper details, and more gradual transitions of color. Those are differences that viewing distance charts can't measure. I remember being roundly yelled at when I posted a link to this years ago, with everyone on here crying "wah wah, no double blind!"
