You'd definitely give Sickbeast a nice grin!
The GTX 1070 will be faster overall once it's overclocked.
I'm personally looking at the GTX 1060s. I got a DisplayPort to HDMI 2.0 adapter for my 280x for the time being and it's working well. The RX480 did not impress me and I don't think the aftermarket cards are going to solve the heat and overclocking problems. If the GTX 1060 can overclock to GTX 980Ti speeds, I will buy one. The latest rumor is that it will match a GTX 980 at stock speeds.
For sure, but I don't OC.
So, I bought a card that will perform between a 1070 and 1080 to use until I decide what to do. May just buy a high end 1080, may get the new Titan or 1080Ti. With the level of performance I have now, and my current predicament of owning 2 homes and moving, I have no time for gaming.
