Personally I hope the pick up driver does some time (year or two?) for this.

This basically assault with a deadly weapon or attempted murder of random strangers, have to be pretty psycho to do this. Could have killed other people on the road as well.

Courts need to make an example of this douchebag and show other douchebags why they can't try to injure or kill strangers just because they aren't driving fast enough.

Well, I also hope that the victim gets ticketed as well, for driving slow in the fast lane, if indeed driving more than 10 mph below the speed limit while blocking the traffic (the video should allow investigators to estimate the speed pretty accurately). 

After all, both were douchebags, I think.  They deserved each other, lol.  If the pick-up driver were really in a hurry, he should've just driven to the right onto the emergency lane and passed both.  If he wanted revenge, he could just slow back down on the fast lane, to the minimum speed limit and watch the offender enjoy his own poison.  But, no, the pick up driver had to be dumber than that.

If someone is in a hurry like that you should always let them pass. The truck was tailgating for quite some time before the driver lost it and acted like a total buffoon. The rule is, keep right except to pass. The 300ZX driver was clearly not passing. He was just sitting there right beside the car in the right hand lane. That would frustrate pretty much anyone.

I do hope the truck driver is brought to justice. You can't take matters into your own hands like that. Someone could have been killed. The victims are very lucky they didn't have more serious injuries.
