HP gave it away in an official press release. It looks like they've ranked it up with the GTX 980.

LOL! I thought their 280X was 980's competition.

I can feel an epic fail coming on.

And Rollo's "meh" could be heard from coast to coast.

Only new silicon is 390, so calling a newest batch, binned 290X named the "380" is pretty irrelevant to me.

I don't even see how this could be so exciting.

All we can truly gather from this is that AMD is launching a new series and HP will sell some systems with them in it. We can also conclude that the 380 should be here before school starts back up.

Nothing else can be concluded from this.

I mean, seriously. HP builds PCs, they have used AMD HW for years now. If HP didn't carry the 380, now that would be news.
