Crack Smoker Thinks SSD Prices Are In A Free Fall

Last I checked, SSD prices are stagnant.  He compares consumer SSDs with enterprise HDDs, and thinks consumer SSDs can be used in enterprise. The stupidest part is he thinks SSDs will hit price parity with HDDs by next year thanks to VNAND.  Paul Alcorn from Tweaktown and Kristian Vättö from AnandTech are trying to combat the stupidity in the comments.

I dont think SSDs are ready to take over data centers.

The technologies have some ways to go. It is amassing how far we have come though

I hope that the article is true but it is highly unlikely. 8x the capacity this year? I don't think so.
