ECS AMD 785G based A785GM-M and Intel P55 based P55H-A motherboards spotted
Yesterday we posted the news of the press release of ECS’ AMD 785G chipset based A785GM-M and Intel P55 chipset based P55H-A motherboards. Today we have some images of these boards.
ECS A785GM-M
This board is based on AMD’s upcoming 785G chipset and Southbridge uses the SB710 chipset and uses all solid capacitors. The board comes in a micro-ATX form factor which would allow it to be ideal for Home Theater PCs (HTPCs). ECS A785GM-M supports the latest 45nm AMD Phenom™ II processors, dual channel DDR3 1333MHz memory, and ATI Hybrid Graphics Technology. 5 phase power design allows the board to support up to 125W TDP processors. The board uses the integrated ATI Radeon™ HD 4200 chip for graphic duties offering features such as DX 10.1.
ECS P55H-A
Intel plans to launch its Core i5 series CPUs soon. Along with the new CPUs comes a new chipset called P55, which will be Intel’s mainstream platform. ECS seems to be ready for this as they are showcasing their Intel P55 chipset based ECS P55H-A motherboard at Computex 2009. ECS P55H-A features dual x16 PCIe 2.0 supporting “Auto-Gear Design” that can automatically provide single x16 or dual x8 PCIe bandwidth. Other features such as the support for Intel® Matrix Storage Technology, 14 x USB 2.0 ports, and 6 x SATA 3 Gb/s ports can also be found on this board.
