Money is honey!\u201d<\/em> <strong>\u2013 Max Bailystock (Zero Mostel) \u2013 The Producers (1968), Embassy Pictures<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ever wonder why when someone wants to show you how good their device is, they never show you a PowerPoint presentation?<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re boring\u2026yes even yours!<\/p>\n<p>But video?<\/p>\n<p>It grabs your attention and <em>keeps<\/em> your attention.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s so good that recently Cisco reported that IP traffic (that\u2019s Internet stuff) will increase five-fold by 2013, and 90 percent of the stuff will be video.<\/p>\n<p>Internet video already accounts for one-third of all consumer Internet traffic.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pew, 62% of online users watched video through a sharing site in April. \u00a0They found 19% of the folks also downloaded podcasts.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe that\u2019s why Nielsen Company reports that YouTube is pushing out about 1.2 billion streams every day!<\/p>\n<p>All that video may strain the iNet infrastructure, but there\u2019s no turning back folks thirst for great content.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Video Viewing Across All Ages<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><a href=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-22.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21381\" title=\"Untitled-2\" src=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-22.jpg?resize=466%2C326\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-22.jpg?resize=466%2C326 466w, http:\/\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-22-300x209.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><strong>Figure 2 &#8212; This is a decision that could affect my entire life! I shall have to think about it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Business Script<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Start with a little planning:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Determine what you want to achieve \u2013 education, product recognition, sales \u2013 and plan how you\u2019re going to do it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Personalize your company, your product, yourself \u2013 show your enthusiasm, commitment, passion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Keep your message short \u2013 10-minutes max \u2013 and show you understand how important your audience and their time is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use an inexpensive but good camera and some easy-to-use software like muvee Pixie or Reveal 8 (<a href=\"www.muvee.com\">www.muvee.com<\/a>) and don\u2019t struggle to turn your video into a Hollywood production.\u00a0 A few imperfections humanize, add credibility that viewers can identify with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Have fun, experiment with ideas.\u00a0 The most viral company videos are those that show people how to do something new, interesting, different with the product in the video.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Make your video pertinent to your product and include things consumers want to do, or are considering doing, with your product, service.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Make certain people can view your video by adding links and titles so search engines can find your video(s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Don\u2019t do just one video and think your work is done.\u00a0 Serialize your videos, telling as many (short) stories as possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Promote your videos like everything else you do using social sites, the web, blogs, releases, newsletters<\/p>\n<p>Once you get into doing videos, you\u2019ll scream like Max, <em>\u201cThat\u2019s it, baby, when you&#8217;ve got it, flaunt it, flaunt it!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-61.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-21385\" title=\"Untitled-6\" src=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-61.jpg?resize=400%2C244\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"http:\/\/i1.wp.com\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-61.jpg?resize=400%2C244 400w, http:\/\/alienbabeltech.com\/main\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/10\/Untitled-61-300x183.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Figure 6 &#8212; Limited Crew, Budget \u2013 <\/strong>While most major corporations are hiring online video production specialists to create and place their videos; there\u2019s no reason you can\u2019t undertake and test the application yourself.\u00a0 All it takes is a decent camera, a good editing computer, low-cost\/automated production software and a link to video websites.\u00a0 Then, track\/monitor viewer feedback\/results.\u00a0 <strong>Source:\u00a0 muvee Technologies, Inc.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Interesting, informational, short videos are more believable than polished ads.<\/p>\n<p>Using the automated video production software, you can quickly explain products\/services, incorporate as many SEO (search engine optimization) links as possible and visually help customers use your products\/services\u2026show them how much fun, easy, profitable, rewarding it is.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Personalized Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Go cheap by using members of your team as the \u201cactors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s an ego boost for them when people say, <em>\u201chey I saw your video,\u201d<\/em> and it humanizes your company and the product.<\/p>\n<p>New product announcements, new\/different uses of existing products, how-tos, technical videos all connect the consumer to the company, the brand.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember, it\u2019s not a one-way discussion.<\/p>\n<p>Monitor viewer feedback\/inputs.<\/p>\n<p>Get a good idea\u2026make another video.<\/p>\n<p>Better yet, encourage customers \u2013 real users \u2013 to submit their videos and include them in your web site, video blogs, podcasts.<\/p>\n<p>Do your videos right, do them consistently and people will be watching your content on all of their platforms \u2013 laptops, desktops (home, office), smartphones, tablets.<\/p>\n<p>Who knows, they may even bring up your video in the store when they\u2019re considering a purchase!<\/p>\n<p>Company videos don\u2019t require bringing in a complete production crew\u2026just a few simple\/inexpensive tools and people who want to do a good job<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shoot, Edit, Show<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t be afraid to take the plunge.\u00a0 Consumers are embracing online video.<\/p>\n<p>Just remember, Cisco estimates that annual global IP traffic will exceed two-thirds of a Zettabyte (667 Exabytes) in four years.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s a lot of video.<\/p>\n<p>Some of it might as well be yours!<\/p>\n<p>As Max said, <em>\u201cSing it out, men!
