If sensitive data falls into the wrong hands, it can lead to identity theft which can become a disaster. With the iTwin, you have secure bi-directional access that enables you to copy, back-up or remotely edit the files you choose.\u00a0 There is no storage limit other than the capacity of your computers and the hard drives connected to them.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Privacy and Security<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The iTwin software creates a folder where you can drag and drop the files that you want to share, your entire hard drive and even attached storage on the local computer. By giving an associate or family member one-half of an iTwin, you can provide them with a secure and easy access to data and documents.\u00a0 So we decided to test out the iTwin&#8217;s capabilities by using our home online-connected PC to host the local files that we would attempt to access from our notebook using our WiFi connection.\u00a0 Read on for our experience with secure file sharing Access<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just plug the iTwin with both halves connected together into a USB port on the desktop (hosting) PC and make sure you are connected to the Internet.\u00a0 iTwin is plug and Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the library we connect to the Internet using their super-fast 10MBs\/second connection using our notebook&#8217;s Wi-Fi.\u00a0 Immediately the half of the iTwin that we took with us, installs itself on the notebook as soon as we plug it in.\u00a0 Of course, we left our desktop PC on and online at home with the other half of the iTwin still installed on administrator privileges to install iTwin and this is a fail at the library\u00a0 And the first time we brought our own notebook we had an issue with Proxy Settings with our WildBlue Satellite ISP students who want to transfer big files between school and home, and endless possibilities for business.\u00a0 Small business owners won\u2019t have to invest in a VPN and the IT people to support it.\u00a0 And we have seen that cloud storage is far less than ideal.\u00a0 Best of all, iTwin installation and use is generally simple and easy to use.\u00a0 It also comes with great support should you have some rare issues as we did with our proxy settings.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Pros:<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<ul>\n<li>iTwin offers &#8220;both ends of a cable&#8221; service with no cable, and secure 256-bit encrypted connections on both ends.<\/li>\n<li>A great solution for on the go users using multiple PCs and transferring large files<\/li>\n<li>No need for cloud-storage monthly fees or security concerns;
