The 2DS is compatible with both 3DS- and DS-games and retains most of the 3DS features. There is WiFi for example, and a local multi-player option as well. On top of that, the 2DS also has two cameras on the back which allows 3D photos to be taken.<\/p>\n<h2>Nintendo 2DS pricing<\/h2>\n<p>The 2DS will be available October 12th for a budget-price of $129.99.\u00a0 It happens to launch on the same day that Pokemon X and Y launch as well. Included in that price is a 4GB SD card for saving content. The 2DS will be available in both red and blue and can be switched off using a slider. The device will only be able to produce mono-sound for the lack of a second speaker.
