Over the years we have been treated to Mac vs PC ads, how mac is always showing PC in a techincally inferior light. Recently Microsoft tried to counter those ads with quite puzzling ads featuring Bill Gates and comedian Jerry Seinfield. This new ad\u00a0 tries to show that mac is an expensive alternative to a PC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">For the commercials, Microsoft\u2019s advertising agency, Crispin Porter + Boguksy, recruited prospective computer shoppers in the Los Angeles area through Craigslist and other sites, with a tantalizing offer to give them between $700 and $2,000 to purchase a new PC. According to Brad Brooks, corporate vice president for Windows consumer product marketing at Microsoft, the agency told recruits it was a market research firm and didn\u2019t mention it was working with Microsoft.
