Core i5 processors will come in three flavors: 2.66 GHz, 2.8 GHz, and 2.93 GHz, with 8 MB of L3 cache, a TDP of 95 watts, and will use the new LGA-1156 socket. All three are quad core parts, but the 2.66 GHz part does not support Hyperthreading, thus it has 4 threads while the other CPU\u2019s will have 8 threads. Intel plans to price them at $196, $ 284 and $ 562 U.S. dollars respectively. <\/p>\n<p>A report over on the Chinese website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hkepc.com\/2765\" onclick=\"_gaq.push(['_trackEvent', 'outbound-article', 'http:\/\/www.hkepc.com\/2765', 'HKEPC']);\" >HKEPC<\/a>, indicates that these CPU\u2019s will feature significant boost to their operating frequency under turbo mode as compared to the current Core i7 CPU\u2019s.
