But the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks took place less than eight years before Obama was sworn into office in January, 2009. “Under those eight years before Obama came along, we didn’t have any successful radical Islamic terrorist attack in the United States. They all started when (Hillary) Clinton and Obama got into office,” Giuliani said Monday in Ohio where Trump delivered a speech on radical Islamic terrorism. Giuliani’s remarks drew swift criticism, including from 9/11 survivor Gabrielle Laine-Peters who took to Twitter to say she was “so angry right now” and sent a picture with an explicit word to describe Giuliani. Most Americans didn't attend universities and learn the "correlation does not imply causation" law of statistics. Giuliani is using the questionable cause logical fallacy, "correlation proves causation" which is the foundation of the political lies we are all fed daily. "Unemployment improved under Obama, must be due to him!" RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - SteelCrysis - 08-17-2016 Apparently, he's a 9/11 truther.
RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - ocre - 08-17-2016 Honestly guys.... Trump is blowing this. His chances of actually winning were slim to none and he set a raging flame to the smallest chance he did have. RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - SteelCrysis - 08-17-2016 What's that got to do with Giuliani? Trump isn't saying this, Giuliani is. RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - ocre - 08-17-2016 Surely you are kidding? A joke I am not getting? Giuliani is campaigning for trump. His speeches are at trump events. This is also why this article is exist, the reason you are even hearing of it. Every trump rally, every trump word..there are countless people scouring thru looking for any and every phrase for an opportunity to run another headline. They pull any sound bite they can, usually out of context. Sometimes they dont even use the entire sentence, in these efforts to manipulate and create sensational anti trump stories to further their agenda. Giuliani is one of the few widely respected people trump has and many would be pleased to see him chopped down as well. This article exist for the same reason as so many others these days. And if you watch some of these comments made into controversy, they only play tiny clips and it out to be something way different. I dont think Giuliani was meaning what the article tried to make it out as. He was speaking at a live event and was really onto it. He was surely meaning after 9/11, the policies put in place kept us safe and the new administrations approach has been and is dangerous. The reason this is news, TRUMP RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - RolloTheGreat - 08-17-2016 (08-17-2016, 05:59 AM)ocre Wrote: Honestly guys.... When Republicans stop offending minorities, women, gays, poor, and people who believe in separation of church and state they may actually win. Too many people in the groups they tend to alienate. RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - ocre - 08-23-2016 Kind of dont know where we are going. I would. E lying if I said as wasnt nervous RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - RolloTheGreat - 08-23-2016 (08-23-2016, 10:55 PM)ocre Wrote: Kind of dont know where we are going. Billary will be elected by a landslide because Trump is a nut, and we'll basically have four more years of nothing happening at all. (like the last 6) Hint to GOP: 10% of the people in the country are gay. They don't want to be told they don't have the same rights as everyone else because it's your opinion this would anger unseen sky spirits. And jiminy crickets! 17% of the country is Hispanic, and they probably don't like being told they're the source of all crime and job woes. Gosh! Half the voters are women, and they may not want to risk carrying a child to term and becoming a single parent every time they have sex. Another 15% of Americans are over 65, and they don't like to here talk of changing their social security after they spent their whole fricking life paying into it for other people. 20% of Americans aren't Christians and a lot who are believe in separation of church and state. Until the Republican party figures out these simple, self evident truths, they will never hold the presidency again. Putting the "rich white guy" up on a podium doesn't cut it anymore. RE: Rudy Giuliani says there were no radical Islamic Terror attacks in U.S. before Obama - SteelCrysis - 08-23-2016 That's weird, I haven't heard an estimate of gay people that was higher than 4% of population. Not to mention, Assange has said that WikiLeaks is preparing to release a second round of hacked DNC emails. The Dems will inevitably take some more damage from that. Trump showed up in Louisiana to meet flooding victims there. If he keeps up this image of sympathy for the common person, like Truman did in 1948...
