LG G5 - SickBeast - 11-14-2016
So I bought an LG G5 last week and it just arrived today in the mail (yes, on a Sunday). I realize that I have a complete and utter addiction to LG phones, however I got a really great deal on it and I can probably sell my G4 for what I just paid for the G5.
My initial impression is that I am extremely impressed. The first thing I noticed is just how *fast* this phone is. Everything opens up instantly and websites load up way faster. The camera is more responsive and the app seems to have a few more features than the G4 camera. The build quality is excellent. The phone does not feel "hollow" to me as some reviewers pointed out.
A couple of things that surprised me: It comes with a screen protector pre-installed, and it also comes with a "fast charger"; I'm just not sure if it's Quick Charge 3.0 but I have a feeling that it might be.
I really don't understand all the hate that LG gets for their phones. I suppose I should be thankful because the bad reviews and the lack of demand makes their handsets incredibly affordable. I only paid $336CAD for this phone plus tax which works out to only $248USD. To get a high end handset from a good brand like LG is an amazing deal IMO.
