what a drawn out video. A lot of work, I am sure, went into getting the results. Too bad it also takes so much time to get the info....lol

I think the information is good though, if people take the time to sit thru all of it.


Perhaps there are other methods and routes that could be used in such a comparison. Disregarding the test which are at the monitors max refresh rate, I see input lag with freesync on vs off. In his own result, yet in this video it is said multiple times there is no increase. It appears the latency added is small (~1ms) but it shows up consistently across all his comparisons. But a mere millisecond is a 5% hit when we are talking about latency in the 20ms range. At 10ms, adding a single one means a 10% hit.

I think this is something that should be looked into, at the very least I think it deserves a deeper investigation. But here it is completely swept under the rug. It may be due to the methods used but it is strange that the gsync results consistently show no increase at all where the freesync is showing a small increase every time.
