But quad-channel memory isn't making that much of a difference even with Haswell-E vs Haswell with half the bandwidth. At least we're moving to DDR4, and it should ramp up quickly within the next 1-2 years as DDR4 matures. It's still a bit disappointing though, as some rumors a couple years ago were saying that it would be quad-pumped just like GDDR5 (which really should be called QDR instead of DDR). Perhaps this would still come out for system RAM within next 2 years, if system DDR4 is to be as short-lived as GDDR4 was (HD 3870, and just maybe one other video card ever used GDDR4).
Ok with science that the big bang theory requires that fundamental scientific laws do not exist for the first few minutes, but not ok for the creator to defy these laws...  Rolleyes
