Think the 6600k is good enough for now? 4c/4t now and the refresh 7600k 4c/8t in 2 years or so and sell the 6600k? or just go all out and grab a 6700k now?

Sorry for late reply - was gone for Labor Day weekend.  Hmm, yeah, I'd just go for 4c/4t for now, unless you're playing a game that really needs more than 4 threads.  And then upgrade to an 8t Kaby Lake as soon as it comes out, and sell the 4t. 

Good thing that Intel's CPUs do not really go down in price at all after over 1 year.  The resale value can actually be higher than Microcenter's price!
