He does make good arguments, though no one will listen to him. I won't go all the way to agree with him as I don't think we're in that bad a situation yet.

My own observations are:
  • The Constitution is not a sacred cow. I partially agree with Thomas Jefferson's interpretation of the Constitution that it is not too sacred to be touched, but disagree with his mandatory ending of the Constitution every 19 years.
  • There is a precedent to repealing an amendment from the Constitution. It was called Prohibition, instituted by the 18th Amendment and repealed by the 21st Amendment. That right there is a powerful precedent that could throw the First Amendment out the window if the time comes.
