That's what's so disgusting about your opinions on this. You would actually come out ahead here in Canada but you can't stomach your taxes helping someone in need who is less fortunate than you. Honestly I don't know how you can even look at yourself in the mirror.
Wowee! So I could be taxed higher, and pay more for everything my whole life, and then save some money on college?
Our state schools aren't Ivy League level, but they're $8-$10K a year in fees. (and good schools) So I can save $24K offset by paying more my whole life.
Don't think I'm coming out ahead there.
(Not to mention the money being worth 40% less)
Nothing I've seen about your economic system, or any other, makes me wish I lived there. Here a person is only limited by how much they want to work. There, the government holds you back with sneaky taxes to make the workers pay for the shirkers.
I get why that's a good deal for slackers, but I work for a living.
