AMD is probably targeting (read:overclocking) their Zen at 3.5GHz intel parts. Look for fire extinguisher sales near AMD's facility to spike, and kids to sell them at a curbside stand by their building.
"intel hit 5ghz, but we've hit 8Ghz to achieve parity with peltier coolers!"
