I just did a quick search and it looks to me as though your card will support the new DisplayPort 1.4. YMMV though, I don't know this for sure.

About the same. I have kids though so they keep me pretty busy. I have been enjoying the family life. I went out for a good run today. Right now I'm stability testing and overclocking my new motherboard. So far things are going really well. I hit a couple of snags but now everything seems to be sorted out and working beautifully. For some strange reason I could not run my 280x in PCI-E 3.0 mode. It was causing horrible sound issues over HDMI. Once I set it back to 2.0 in the BIOS it solved the problem. I'm a bit annoyed that PCI-E 3.0 is not working but I know it won't make a difference in my games.
Other than that everything went really well. I have decided that I will be going with Gigabyte from now on for all my builds. I'm very impressed by the quality of the board. It's really outstanding.
