Also, I love Karl Bode's Freudian slip when he says "While Google Fiber is still derided on some fronts as all hype, the impact the service has had on competition (both real competition and conversations about it) can't be under-stated." Of course, the so-called "impact" has almost nothing to do with Google Fiber and almost everything to do with DOCSIS 3.1 upgrades.
