Valve Makes Steam Sections At Gamestop, Other Stores

The Steam Machines must not be selling well at all. Valve is desperate enough to sell at physical stores + digital orders, and is throwing in 2 free games. Only 1 of those, Rocket League, is a rising in popularity game. The other is Portal 2, a 4 year old sequel.

In the meanwhile, Valve can't even make Half Life 3 as the killer app to drive these sales, let alone Portal 3 or Left 4 Dead 3..... *yawns*

In all seriousness, Valve bungled the pre-release. Not having the Steam Machines in stores from the beginning shows they thought they could get away with digital ordering only, and now are having to play catch up.
