A note on GeForce GTX 480 noise levels

Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 400-series graphics cards have caught flak for their relatively high power consumption and noise levels. TR’s Scott Wasson has taken the debate to his blog, comparing the new cards against the infamous GeForce FX 5800 Ultra and giving Nvidia some credit for keeping thermals and noise in control despite the GF100 GPU’s formidable energy demands.
